Holy Cross Cemetery

Holy Cross Cemetery is located at the corner of South and South Park Streets in Halifax's south end.  It is adjacent to Fort Massey Cemetery to the east.  On the hill in the centre of the cemetery is Our Lady of Sorrows Chapel.  The chapel is commonly known among Halifax residents as the Church Built in a Day.  It was constructed in a single day in August, 1843.
